Organization Infrastructure

 
 

Our goal for infrastructure is to create an adaptive and sustainable infrastructure that reflects the core values of the organization and ever changing needs for practitioners of color in the field of music education.

We plan to do this in four areas:

  • Sustaining - Top researchers and practitioners committed to R&R of music educators of color to present on the barriers that exist and how to approach them; build a robust Board of Directors, chief officers of three people (CEO, COO, CFO), coordinators (5), and facilitators (10)

  • Advancing - develop a self sustaining operation where we connect institutions, legislators/officials with leaders in R&R in education to further the mission on a local level across the nation (personnel at headquarters and local offices)

  • Innovating - Positioned to partner with White House Initiatives to create legislation that directly addresses this issue in states with Divisive Concept Laws, lack of representation, etc.

  • Evaluating - Effective HR and Operations analysis from personnel, management, and clients for a 360-degree view of the organization annually
